    Seems like a gastroenteritis (may be the wrong traduction). Like you said, it is a stomach infection. I got it during christmas vacations. Took a big 24 hours to stand up on my feet and around 48 to be able to eat normally. You'll be dehydrated so drink just by little sip. If you take food of water too fast you'll reject it.

    If you keep a shallow dish of water with some soil in it on one end so they have a supply of mud to seal in the holes will help cause its so dry where you are

    Yeah, that flower bed irrigated regularly in summer, but good reminder. I can throw a pie pan out there with some dirt in it, and it should do the trick.
