    The truck was knocking and dancing all over the road. I think my big wreck comprised my back left shock and so decided to replace them. I have 95K miles anyway. I wanted standard height and so I had my mind on Blistein 4600's. Went to the our local 4x4 store and after comparing them to Pro Comp Pro Runner ZX2012 it was clear the the Pro Comps have a larger shaft and gas tube. It also is tuned for the weight of the truck. I like the brushed metal with a accordion boot vs yellow and blue. They are also $10 cheaper. Wow. It was a night and day change in the ride and the knocking is gone. I even had to double check the tire pressure thinking it was very soft. I wasn't going to do it but now I'm going to put these in the front next week. I'm sure the Blisteins are good but I have no complaints with the Pro Comps.

    From the pic it looks like you need a little more space between it and your bumper to allow for the body roll when you articulate the suspension. With it that close you'll pop them off when you froad. Probably not an outcome of your cutting, looks like you just need to lower the bumper an 1/8-1/16".

    See that little blemish on the flare? That was from when I installed the bumper first time, and it did exactly what you said... Think I need to space it more?
