    Alright, i dun goofed. i was replacing my broken trailer hitch with a new one from Amazon, thought all the wiring colors matched as they did on the diagram included on the package and the one i thought was for my truck, realized to late that i was looking at a diagram for a Nissan frontier :frusty:

    My truck is a 2007 DCLB V6 SR5 with tow package, heres a pic of the wiring after i cut the broken plug off, dont mind the two already connected wires, i had two connected when i realized i screwed up

    [IMG]

    In case thats too blurry, i have:

    1 Solid white wire,
    1 Yellow wire with double silver stripes
    1 solid black wire
    1 solid green wire
    1 solid blue wire
    1 red wire with a single silver stripe
    1 brown wire with a single silver stripe

    Can somone help me out and tell me what goes to what? i tried to figure it out with my multimeter but am getting a few funky readings, probably since theres no plug

    Hint: a digital multimeter is the worst tool to figure out what's, what.

    Ghost voltage reading makes the job suck with a digital VOM.

    yeah, i have a digital one, might be the problem.

    Remembered i had a 2006 FSM on my drive, does this look about right for the wiring?
    [IMG]

    so according to this, if i read it right,

    white=ground
    brown=right turn signal
    red=left turn signal
    yellow=backup lights
    blue=electric brake output
    green=tail light illum
    black=acessory power

    seem right?

    Normally, I like cloudy weather, but the rain and cold temps need to stop.

    Wow. Thanks. Got my blood test results back, and the doc just told me I basically broke the cholesterol record.

    In other words, this kinda stuff is my new porn.

    What's a man to do when his wife is away and can cook whatever he wants? You venture to the grocery store, and notice strip steaks on sale....you don't say?! I'll take ya up on that offer!
