About the same power. Full size truck. Better gas mileage than "modern" V6

Never seen a 350 in a 4x4 that could clear 17-18, and I'm averaging 19-21 with my Tacoma right now.
I think you've got more torque, less HP (210HP/300LB-FT or something like that, if I remember right?)
Of course, that's when it was new. It's a safe bet that a few of the horses have escaped from the corral over the years.

255 HP's and 300 Torques. I'm getting 18+ with this pig. Could probably easily get 20 on the freeway. Tacoma never did better than 18 and averaged 15. All that and this pile has a quarter million miles.

What year is that Chebby? Pre- 1996? OBDI emissions were very fuel efficient.

My cousin had a '96 with the 350/Auto that was a 4x4 extended cab and I don't think he ever saw it do better than 14. Dual flowmasters and a lead foot probably didn't help, but even highway driving when we took his truck hunting we were stopping for gas.

Took a trip north in my work truck to pick up this year's bacon seeds last Thursday and actually averaged 18mpg's with a 32 year old Dodge 4x4. Had to check my math twice, lol.

I have a permit for the electrical upgrade at my house and I have a licensed electrician who is going to be rewiring everything from where the old panel is to where the new panel is going to be installed.

So i just had to go to Crescent Eletrical Supply to buy all the stuff I needed and that hub is what the guy gave me when I told him what I had to do. He called it a hub and it has AL/EMT/IMC/RIGID stamped on it. The fitting itself seems to be the same thickness as the rest of the 2.5" piping I'm using. I was going to use that hub to connect to the riser in the ground which is connected to some waverib with a sure-lock coupling.

I am glad to hear you have a contractor and permit while I can't speak for your supply house counterman but this is a hub...

The photo you posted is of a compression connector which cannot be used if there are threads on GRC conduit, the threads must be cut off. We generally use hubs on top of meter cans where we have a mast extending to a weather head. On the bottom of cans and panels we use set-screw or compression connectors. In any case if this is the main panel and you use any type of metallic pipe/conduit you will be required to bond the connection between pipe/conduit and panel if you still have a concentric knockout remaining. A common and more economical solution to this would be to use schedule 80 pvc which is cheaper and being non-metallic does not require a bond at the connection. The NEC (NFPA 70) allows it but some jurisdictions do not.
