We cleaned up my screen porch that was being used for storage. Lot's of stuff. Of course we found evidence of mice. Got the room entirely empty, cleaned it, painted it and moved a few cabinets back in. Nowhere for mice to recolonize but I put a bait station in anyways. About a week later I see that the bait has been 1/2 eaten so I figured problem solved. Mice dead. The GF wasn't convinced and wanted to put out snap traps, so I did. Sure enough, the mice are still there and she was right. I'm worried that will set a precedent, but that's another topic all together.

    :D

Anyway, the little bastards got the peanut butter bait but avoided getting caught by the wire (2 of them tripped but no mouse). So I put together this little contraption that others seem to have success with. We'll see if it works tomorrow morning. I really don't like mice living in my space but I do feel a little guilty using this method...
