    Yep, gonna epoxy the old sling mount in (after I dremel it down) and install a new sling stud with a backing plate (Hopefully it'll redistribute the force better so I don't have this issue again).

    Yeah kinda more plasticy that i thought it was gonna be but it should be fine and if not it was only like $13 shipped so wont set the build back too bad ha. Its pretty neat tho it came with 3 adapters for different style maf sensors so basically universal even if it is a spectre.

    I build these too use on camp ground fire pits. Usually there is no grate, so a person needs to take their own. Not shown, is a 3/4" pipe, its driven into the ground, then the grate is slid over the pipe. The clamp makes the grate adjustable up and down and you can twist the grate left or right to add more wood.
