    ive been trying to think of a simple way to reach the totes under my platform allll the way at the back of the bed. thanks for the idea! now if only I can keep the strings from making their way to front of the bed too.

    Another way is to keep a simple tool like a garden hoe back there. You can push them all the way forward, or use the blade to catch a handle or something similar to retrieve them. Or make something similar using a broom handle and a small piece of metal or plywood attached to the end. A real knee and back saver if you have a cap on your bed, too.

    also a good option! yes, I have a cap and a sleeping platform so its a PITA to get the back totes out.
