    Did he happen to have an obvious injury on his left side? I always heard if one go hit by a car or shot poorly or something and made it to the next year the opposite side antler would be kinda screwie. Thats a prettt neat blade he has either way. Bow kill? Or has gun season started down there yet?

    man I can almost smell that from here. I still have 19 days before gun season opens here, but its 90* right now so I would wanna go anyway (so I keep tellin myself)

    I'd consider it a little too warm up here, to be honest. Barely even below freezing in the mornings, in the 50's during the day. I was wearing a t-shirt and a blaze vest when I shot him. This guy was chasing a pair of does, though, so apparently they're getting ready for the rut anyway, even with the warm weather during the days.

    How many times did you have to stop and resharpen while you were cutting those rounds? I've hard that Live Oak is wicked hard on the teeth on a saw.
