    we embedded them in epoxy, then section them using a sectioning saw from Beuhler. the only time we sanded was when we were playing around with trying to get daily reads off of bluefish. that was a royal pain. after doing 3 or 4 my fingers were bleeding. got some cool data from them though! you could literally see daily growth increments. it was wild.

    those are good too! ever try the Brooklyn 2? I always grab a Brooklyn 1 when I see them. they also made a "black ops" one year and it was a beast. my dad got it for me on my 21st birthday. he said "its fitting I guess, I buy you a $21 beer for your 21st birthday!" it was delicious.
