    It's your standard microusb, so physically an thing with fit. I feel like gopro has always been more strict about ALWAYS using gopro specific charging hardware for their equipment. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that would be an excuse, I was just curious.

    Since there is the gopro app now, I've only used my remote once, and have only charged it once as well. Haha!

    It is like this. Mine is GoPro. It was bought new last year I never bought replacement chargers.
