This must have been on the west side? I hear the east side is getting biblical rain - I'm seeing reports of 4-5 inches per day over the last several days. Good thing the ground is mostly porous lava rock, although there is still flooding...

List everything to make it look like I've done a lot and that my truck is special, 01-04 front end conversion, OME Nitrochargers, 883 springs, Dakars, painted bumper, campershell, sleeping platform, party lights, Pioneer double din radio, in vent window visors, OEM 2013 Tacoma rims, Hankook Dynapro AT 275/75/16
I love Hank Shaw! Your gf is friends with him!? That's awesome! My supervisor lives by his recipes and I have tried many myself. His books and blog is great for preparing the meat once you got it but these go into more detail about what is needed to be able to get the meat.

He's a real nice guy. Down to earth. Had a few beers with him at his house when I first met him (went to pick up my GF who went on a duck hunt with his wife).

Yup, you probably drove along the coast and went up thru pohoiki. Ive spent a lot of time hunting that side in the papaya fields or just driving along the road and letting the dogs off the truck. I wouldnt doubt that big boy was there and use to people. You can find all kinds of people in puna. ;)

This may be more southwest…right on the border of Kau. They shut down some of the highways due to rivers flowing over on the pahala side, but we had just the right amount of fun…while others enjoyed the snow on the mountain.
