I saw this while doing some Amazoning this morning. About the best price I can find in the stores locally is $27. The high mileage stuff just has a little more gasket conditioner than the regular stuff so it's not a problem. Might want to throw a jug in if you're getting stuff shipped anyway.

Update: I might have got the last one. They are out now.

Damn good price. I saw Sam's has 6 quart bottles for $22 or $23 IIRC this weekend.

yeah I thought my coworker was miss reading the ad this morning. I heard that most gun manufacturers made a huge surplus last year when things were happening and they thought more things were gonna happen that would make people buy more guns and then things didn't happen so they have way too much stock and that is why basically every manufacturer has had huge rebates all year

I just saw a video and apparently Remington has come out and said they have lost 1/3 of their sales because of reasons (but the video I watch was saying that Remington is just putting out crap right now and that is a big part of why their sales are down, he was talking about their hand guns in particular)

that was academy btw I didn't realize it wasn't in that picture

I have heard and read a few things about Remington's quality issues over the past few years. I don't know a whole lot about it, just that my 870 isn't "the greatest thing since sliced bread" like everyone says they are.

I'm not an aficionado of savage but apparently another reason this gun is so cheap is that savage now has an axis xp II and it comes with the accutrigger (which I thought basically all of their rifles had now since it had been out for like 10 years but I guess I was wrong) similar to how the ruger lcp and s&w shield went dirt cheap right before they released their 2.0 versions of each respectively, at any rate it's still a great deal
