My second attempt to make ice balls. Bought the mold for a few bucks on a lark. Instructions were written in Japanese. First attempt came out 1/2 to 3/4 round. This time I submerged both halves while assembling to keep air out. Not sure it will seal and hold the water when I take it out of the tupperware.

I used boiled, distilled water to get clear ice. As soon as it cools down it goes in the freezer...

I have a PreRunner, but my shifter has options for 4 wheel, 3 wheel and 2 left wheel drive? Why would you ever need 3 wheel drive, or only the 2 left tires? How do I select what 3 are being used?

That's transmission gear. 4 D means fourth gear drive. 3 is third. 2 is second, then you can move it to the right to get into low gear which is first. Has nothing to do with a transfer case.

I was really hoping he was kidding us. If not, he has the only 4 wheel drive, Toyota Prerunner ever made. Very rare.

Try filling them in a vessel that allows you to stand them up along the long edge when you connect them underwater. Just speculating.
