    I wouldn't think that was dumb. I feel they are less safe (false sense of security) than a motorcycle or ATV on the road. Plus I'd never want to buy one of those dumb "smart" cars. Because 5 years ago, a buddy of mine got punted 100yds by a semi truck that ran a stop light (he was driving back from his first day at a new job too). He had to be life flighted, broke just about everything in his body, spent a month in a medically induced coma, along with a shunt in his head.
