Holy Hell, got out just in time... We're in Hawaii for 2 weeks - got in yesterday. Temps today at home (on the left) and where we are on the big island (right).

Whereabouts in Texas? We're a tad big, and that tidbit doesn't narrow it down much.

Lived there for 12 years before moving back to Austin.

You'll eat well (unless you're in the Bexar County lockup).

You're forgetting the enchilada-based food groups, though.

Outside Lackland AFB on Military Drive is Taqueria Jalisco. The enchiladas verdes are incredible (and cheap). The parking lot always has cops in it in the morning...and no one is getting arrested.

Piedras Negras de Noche off of Laredo and IH-35 scratch-makes everything on site every day, and has a 100+ item menu. Not someplace to take the indecisive.

Rudy's BBQ just outside SeaWorld off of 151 is their best location. Follow the smell of the oak and mesquite smoke.

I strongly encourage you to immediately and violently distrust anyone who tells you that Bill Miller's is awesome BBQ. They must also thing McDonalds makes awesome burgers. Bill Miller's is where you go for sweet tea...period.

If you end up downtown near the Alamo and/or the convention center, Shilo's Deli is over 100 years old and has all that character. They also make their own root beer that is known within certain religious circles to expel demons and summon angels.

Glad I had a glove on but would have rather just not burnt a whole in it (cuz my knuckle still got a lil too hot)

So this worked better than expected.
Took about 20 min. to throw together. PVC pipe and a little bit O wood.
I will probably make at least one more of these, and I have an idea to make a table as well.
I wanted something that was easily removable and made out of simple materials.
The table is the next best idea I have. If you like it, make one. If you can't figure it out PM me.

The pink rod is crooked because of the finger hold on the bottom side of the rod. It's a spin caster for an 8 yr old.

    Just thought I'd add that.

Thanks for the clarification, I was about to call you out on the 9.76 degrees of misalignment, lol. Great job, always love home grown ingenuity!

EDIT: WHERE IS THE BEER HOLDER?
