I'm on the big island, Hawaii. We went down to a little town called Pahoa for dinner. The town just happens to be a mile or so from a very active volcanic fissure (the one that destroyed a bunch of homes). They won't let you get near it to actually see it, but the glow at night is very Lord of the Rings.
