theres a radio/cell tower on the way to Dallas/Ft worth from Abilene that has dozens of turkey vultures on it, I thought of getting a pic years ago when I was there but never did. I always wondered if they got cancer or bad eggs but obviously it didnt affect them since there were so many there.

 

this guy is on the front porch. That is a nerf dart for size comparison. As far as I'm concerned.........he can have the dart.

High power broadcast radio antennas put out some serious energy so likely you are just seeing more and more of the same species as I’d imagine they are getting cooked while they are broadcasting. Still interesting why they would congregate there if it is in fact live.

maybe thats the cycle? They are attracted to the dead/dying birds, come to get meals and get cooked internally only to feed the other birds that are coming to the dead smell...LOL
