Ha. I wish that were so. There was quite the spread yesterday. I never saw so many starch and carb heavy dishes in my life. It was wonderful!

No. I looked at the access bridges between Ennis and quake for Tacoma’s but didn’t notice any. We were in my friend’s F150. I’m going to drive up with just my son the 2nd week of October and chance the weather. I actually think we are 2-3 weeks behind the spawn this year. Lots of hoppers still out and heavier moss in the slower sections.

Yeah I was out there this past week, just got home a bit ago from the 11 hour drive. I had my truck at the cabin for the most part if I was down at the river it was in my dads or his friends truck. I did see a nicely done white 3rd gen with a topper, SCS wheels and King suspension staying at an Air BNB above a stretch I was fishing one morning. The streamer fishing has just started to get going, we had a couple decent mornings, the big fish haven’t made it down from the lakes yet but soon. Should be really ramped up in a couple weeks. We crushed them in the afternoons on hoppers though. It’s a little different this year, staying a little warmer later into the year keeping the hoppers around and haven’t really had any damp cold mornings to get the Browns in on the banks yet.

I agree. With the late cold snap and less water being let out of Hebgen Lake finding the usual spots have been a challenge. You need to study the river more this year trying to find where they are. I got on quite a few within a 1 foot from the deep banks of outside bends. In the evening you have to really watch where your shadow was to not scare them out. Always beautiful and fun whether catching fish or not. (I have to confess that I even threw a Rapala or 2 and absolutely killed it when the hopper/dropper or streamer wasn't that successful).:anonymous:

You guys appreciate weird critters :) Found this a few minutes ago stuck to an old lawn mower I parked behind the shed a year ago (haven't had a chance to take to recycler). I am guessing cricket died and fungus started growing on it.

Sorry for the poor quality, had to compress photos due to slow internet speeds.

Saw this today. Where to post it... not a funny pic, does fit WTF?! but in a different way, not Car Porn (unless you're into that weird stuff), so I figured here is best. Poor dude ripped the whole bottom front end off the car.
