    Beautiful, I love those trees. I travel occasionally to the PNW for work and I try to get out in the woods, usually the Mt. Rainer National Park where I’ve seen these trees.

    Reserected from the dead.

    This concerns me.

    The small wires coming off the positive post are in direct contact with the grounded battery box. If the insulation wears off...direct short.

    This is clearly a battery that is used in a high vibration environment.

    Is there a possibility that those wires could be armored with some flexible shielding?

    Thanks for the concern.

    I didn't have anymore corrugated tubing, but will be adding it soon. That is why I wrapped the electrical tape directly above the cage for now. I'm also planning on securing a loop to the cage so it doesn't sway in the wind either. Had to get the trailer ready for this trip, and didn't have much time, so I concentrated on the immediate repairs.
