    Yeah it does seem kind of useless. I know iron Man parts also fit the Nissan navara which is the frontier overseas I wonder if maybe that bolt hole is used in that application?

    Well I can say I'm impressed with iron Man suspension and until you pointed it out I thought everything was all fine and dandy.:rofl:I have towed a pop-up with the bed full with a heavy cooler and firewood and have left the ground and hit monster potholes on dirt roads and have heard no weird sounds or thumps so I'm just going to pretend everything is fine.:D

    I'm sure it is. That bottom spring is not used until the bed load is "overloaded". Most likely you will never experience that situation.
