    I drove down from the north, then went around on the 101, then back up from the south. I was going to drive the entire Highway 1 -- figured this was the best I could hope for.

    For those who don't know, you can see Highway 1 in this photo -- easy to be taken out by landslides. And btw, an AWESOME drive, scenery is a 10+.

    I love Big Sur. If I won the MegaLottery a house on acreage there would be a priority. There's lots of hiking trails and dirt roads for exploring, along with campgrounds.
