Last week in Anza Borrego, I took this night photo with my iPhone 14 Pro using only moonlight and I'm very impressed with the results. You can even see some stars.

 

Anybody know what this bug is called? It's very small, smaller than a bb, they come out in the spring and I find them inside the house, crawling up the wall or other places. It's so small my iPhone can't focus on it, so pic is somewhat blurry.

 

Yes! Thanks. Crazy, as we have zero carpet in the house. All hardwood, except tile in the bathrooms.

 

Just saw this on the way to lunch

 

Crusty pair of chonies, wadded up clothes under a bed, nasty throw rugs, beer soaked couch, moldy nasty towels in a corner, piled unwashed dishes, over flowing garbage can, used toilet paper that didn't make the flush, teenage boys sock collection next to the playboys, etc.
The list could be a mile long.

lol, you would be correct! Even in my bachelor days I was tidy. What you might call a minimalist. I prefer less clutter and more cleanliness. Carpet is so dirty - if you've every pulled up old carpet you've seen all the crap a vacuum doesn't get. It's the reason I have wall to wall hardwood. My other half, well she is a maximalist! So much stuff. But she is a bit of a fanatic about clean and tidy. We have a pro come clean the house every other week, have a robot vacuum that runs daily.

I read up on the bug... could have just got in through an open door or a tear in a screen. At that point, any fabric is fair game. Diatomaceous earth is one way to get rid of them. Luckily I have some (works on ants as well), so a dusting is in order.
