I have indeed tried their pb. It's good, but not by itself. You have to make it good by pair it with chocolate.

Reapers measure 2 million SU. How much is that dulled by the honey?

 

There's two full peppers, dried and halved that have been infusing this particular bottle of honey for about three months now; it's definitely got a punch to it.
We're hot-heads though, so ghost, scorpion, reaper, btr, etc are normal for us...

Hmmm, that's hard to determine, especially since the spice level continues to grow. The wife says it's similar to an Atomic Fireball right now, but obviously without the imitation cinnamon flavor.

 

As a hot head I'm surprised you keep your sauce in the fridge. Mine stays on the counter.

Had a bottle of the bomb about 5 years ago. Hot as hell but a pretty shitty taste IMO.

 

Ok. That's something that I have eaten before, so I can see that. I was thinking about doing for myself, but toning it down and using a habanero.

 

There's a few bottles we leave out, but most that are open are kept cold. Not really sure why, other than an attempt to keep counters clutter-free.
My bottles at work, and even our camping supply all stay at room temperature...
We haven't tried Da Bomb yet, but really only got it to see how bad it really is. Flavor is certainly a driving factor over heat for the sake of heat.

 

I've got a bottle of honey at work that's infused with a couple ghost peppers; it's very mild and kinda disappointing. I may add some other varieties to it and see how it does.

 

Crack it open and try it. Then report back. everyone I gave it to agreed. Good for some drops in chili or likewise to generate heat but other than that, meh.
