    Getting better. You can tell you were flinching by your shot groups on the first one.

    Bring it in to 10 yards and work back. Not all that bad though.:thumbsup:

    thanks... i know i need some work.... lol... i know ill get better just depends on how much more money i can spend on rounds too haha... but i appreciate the info... is there a recommended distance for certain calibers??? im shooting with .40 cal SIG P226

    In general no, work in the distances you feel comfortable. Most importantly work in the range to where you are getting better and seeing improvement. Even if that is 3 yards or 5 yards. When you start improving at that distance then work your way out. You'll get better much more quickly I promise. Caliber really has not as much to do with it as much as type of weapon.

    I have taught many shooters, and I routinely see knuckleheads at the range starting off at 25m +. I tell my students that if your 25 meters away from a guy shooting a handgun, and your practicing for defense. You are better off running for cover. Even better, you run for cover to retrieve your rifle.:D

    How are u standing? Stance might help u out, and u should train how u plan on shooting.... draw with the hammer back and try a two round burst but aim in between each shot. Stance should be body square feet close to shoulder width a little weight backward and ur non shooting hand's thumb tip should aim at the target down the pistol, and a 40 cal. Should have an effective range of close to 50 yards if u can hit the target
