    One thing I don't like about the second gens is the drum brakes.... come on Toyota!!! Get with the rest of the crowd.... disc brakes!!!

    This is gonna suck but my step-dad's tundra had this problem.. we ended up having to take the whole drum assy. apart and replace the piece in the back that engages the parking brake. There is probably 2 bolts on the back that connects it to the drum housing. That fixed the problem. It was just so rusted and fused together that when the parking bake was used for the first time in a while it just stuck.
