I'm doing better now. I have fully recovered but got well over 30 stitches and lost some muscle...... No broken bone luckily..... I was really worried that the xray was gonna come back with some bad news.... I will still keep working on cars but will now keep the rim under the frame like I always have.... it happened when I was in a hurry.... lesson learned.....

I was able to slide my leg out since it sliced me open pretty good.... pretty gruesome but thought I would share. thanks for the wishes but i'm fully healed and running again... it still hurts every once in a while when I lay on it wrong or something for to long.... other than that it's fine.

 Ouch!! Had a call last night of a guy found under a truck at a self serve car wash. He was working under it when it fell off the crappy bottle jack he was using. Oil pan landed on his chest and he was dead.... Probably there for an hour before someone drove through the lot and found him. Didn't have the parking brake set and no jack stands.

I have a 2010 D/C shortbed Sport. This last week I was rearended. So after getting a repair quote by two shops. I asked if I could get a Crome bumper instead of getting a painted one. Both repair personsonal said, "it did't come Crome that year".
I understand that the Sport only come painted. I don't want to have a chance of having a mismatched paint job. I know they can do a very job now days. But , how about long term? So, i"m asking, I'm I wrong for wanting a Crome bumper?
