    I hear ya. My first cat was an indoor only cat that I had for about 4 years. He was the best cat in the world. Never bit or scratched anyone and was super playful. My roommate one day left the door open and it got out and never came back. Here is a pic of the little guy

    the cat I have now is a kitten..about 8months old..she is definitely playful, but bites and scratches all the time
