    Gee thanks for such the words of wisdom and wonderful compliments. I was roughly 25 yards from that Elk. The angle in which this pic was taken makes it appear that I'm a lot closer than you think. There was a ranger that was right there in his car as I got up and turned around too. I know the capabilities of Elk, deer, Big Horn Sheep and other wild animals. I'm not some city boy that doesn't know anything about wild animals. I encounter them all the time when I work as well.

    I haven't had a chance to follow it this year since I don't really have time to watch TV anymore. I see that Rossi is now ridin' a Duck. I really liked watchin Spies and Mladin on AMA Superbike.
