    you might will need a microphone as well as a digital filter to get rid of the back ground noise...if you can cool if not don't sweat it...its always motivation to hear other member exhaust setup...

    i'm just running the TRD CAI and DTLH...everything else for the exhaust is stock...but I definitely like how my truck sounds...gotta finish up some other projects before I start my exhaust setup...+ i'm going turbo so look out for that thread build...:D

    no rush on the dyno #'s...same thing like the video if you can cool...but like you mentioned the butterfly valve open up completely at WOT which in turns get rid of all the back pressure...you will lose a little horse power (top end) but not much where your butt dyno can tell the difference between the two...

    F/I = Forced Induction

    which include S/C (super chargers) and T/C (turbo chargers)...can't forget the infamous TT setup (Twin Turbo)...

    TURBO!!!!!that f'n sweet. I'll definatly be watching out for that. I love the sound of a bov. I know what forced induction means but I just didn't pick up on f/i. I've never seen it like that before. Thanks for clearing that up.

    I can get a recording with my laptop, it has a mic built in that's decent. I'll go record it now.

    I bet the cutout would be much louder on yours without the rear cats and a cai.

    I'm not sure if this will work cuz on my computer it says video is still being processed.

    It sounds very different in person. Lots deeper when it's open and not as airy for lack of a better term. All well maybe this will give you an idea of how much louder it is. The idle actually sounds pretty acurate though.

    cool...can't wait to hear the clip...

    as far as my exhaust setup...all I know I'll be doing is a dump style setup under the bed of the truck...preferably right before the rear axle...

    I had this exact same setup on my '94 toyota...looks really clean (since I don't like seeing tips sticking out the side or the rear anymore)...not to mention with a dump style setup it resonates ever more under the bed of the truck...which in turns make the exhaust sounds a lot louder then it actually is...

    No problem. I'm glad I could help.

    Yeah it sounds pretty deep. I was suprised. I decided I wanted a cutout when I unbolted the exhaust one evening and I was impressed with the sound. When I did that I was expecting a raspy almost ricey sound but to my suprise it wasn't. So i found a cut out I liked and installed it.

    Forgive me, but what's the point of this if you lose a little HP rather than gain it? Or do you just gain it if you're FI? :confused: Or is it just for sound?

    From my understanding I don't lose anymore than if I had a flowmaster or something on it but I could be wrong. The reason I got it was because I wanted a louder exhaust but not all the time and I certainly don't want any drone or it to be annoying after a while. So I can enjoy the quiet stock or when I'm in the mood open her up and make some noise.

    From my understanding I would only gain hp if I were boosted with 10psi ish or more.
