    With a high stress job comes high pay so it's worth it if you can deal with it.

    My main problem right now is lack of work (typical for this time of year) so the guys are splitting time and banking hours. If these guys don't have equal hours every week then they cry and bitch. Problem is some guys have talents others don't so sometimes you need a guy on a job, but because his hours are high he has to sit on the bench.

    While other shops lay guys off we try to maintain our core group. It hurts all of them, but at least all of them make 1/2 vs 1/2 of them making 100%.

    We have almost 300 guys sitting at the hall right now and the apprentice program is only letting in a small percentage of what it was 6 years ago.

    Hey, figured this was the easiest place to get an answer, whats the trick to getting the swaybar out... I have it all disconnected.... skid plate out... I have not removed the supports to the crossmember. From what I understood you can get it out without... but I'm not seeing the trick.... not enough room.... anyone? Wheels are still on.

    gotta remove the bolts to the crossmember. then it's a twisting game to get it out.

    wait wiat... the bolts to the cross member, the ones that hold the longitudinal support brackets between the core support and cross member? I mean, hell if I took those out it would be pie... but I don't want to bust them loose, plus I don't have a 17mm 1/2 drive which would be required to bust them loose with breaker bar.

    nah...the bolts that hold the bushing hangers to the crossmember...thought that's what you were talking about. if those are removed too, then you should be able to remove it. cant remember the last time i removed mine if the wheels were off or not. would definitely make it easier.
