    Side of the road, you're probably fine. Highway rights of way are under the control of the state highway departments, and generally it's legal to take rocks. And when it's not, no one seems to care. The NPS actually prosecutes people for stealing their rocks.

    Yeah man. Crazy weather everywhere. We're like 3 inches shy of breaking the record here. Either we're at 136 inches for the winter, or the record is 136 and we're 3 inches away...I quit listening a while ago...I just know it's a lot of snow.
