    it's something that i was taught, and has to do with a combination of preventing water intrusion/corrosion and keeping the doohicky and the thingamabobbers properly oriented since it's designed for mounting in its upright position ..:D

    lol yea.. it was a grad gift to myself... :D:D i had a konus one before... it was nice but i reeealllyyy liked this one... its just a matter of waiting and being patient to save the money for it... almost 2 months of work :eek::eek:

    Haha! Sounds legit! I've had newer VWs, Volvos, and BMWs with relays mounted sideways from the manufacturer. However, the ones that were sidesways I only found on the interior.....
