    A small handful of select mods.
    I'm no expert but it looks like that metal loop is designed to keep the circuit off not on. I don't see the sense in keeping circuit from tripping. Might as well bypass the circuit.

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    Hard to tell in the picture if there's any space at all for that handle to move towards the off position. Not sure how far it has to move to be tripped, but I know for sure that it doesn't have to move all the way to the off position.

    Never seen a clip installed like that though, seems like a hazard for sure.

    That's my water heater circuit. :notsure:

    Lever/handle doesn't move at all with the clip there. If it's not up against the breaker, the door doesn't close...
