    Hey y'all,

I changed the motor oil earlier and noticed a cable dangling. Any of you know what it is?

It was already dark when I did the oil change so will try to figure what it is tomorrow.

    TIA!

Breather for transmission or transfer case. Try to get a look up there and see if it's still connected. Then tuck it up high in the tunnel somewhere that makes sense. I think it's supposed to mount up toward the front where the top of the bell housing meets the engine, but it'll be hard to get your hands up there

Thank you! Guess no better time to relocate it to higher ground like I did with the rear diff breather hose years ago.

Likely the trans breather. Likes to live at the top of the trans. Run it out and extend the rear-diff breather, too.

When I did the rear diff breather hose relocation, I ran the line up to my Taco's bed storage box.

Now I'm wondering what's a good spot to relocate the tranny breather hose to.

    Any suggestions?

Appreciate the feedback, "like" to all because y'all are awesome!

That is supposed to be in a holder rite under the brake master, should be another rite next to it which should be the front diff breather.
