Lol anyone looked at the poll? 93% (350 votes) either love or would buy their truck again. This matches the last poll with over 700 votes. Just goes to show how a vocal tiny minority can skew reality with their constant complaining.

6% don't like their truck. SMH.

I've owned my '18 DCLB Sport for a couple months and I'm perfectly happy with the truck overall.

See if the dealer will allow you to drive the truck for a couple of days so you really get a good idea of how it is.

I just sat a Tacoma with and without a moon roof. I've seen people 6'2'' and over they fit fine.. I am about 6'1.5" and barely fit maybe a finger between my head and the roof. I did all kinds of seat adjustments and it didn't seem worth the hassle. Also, wearing my hat, if I titled my head up slightly I was hitting something no matter the position.

I fit fine in a model w/ out the moon roof (with my hat there was no issue as well)-- so now that means I need to find a 2018 TRD Pro..

I love my Taco, is it perfect? Nope, Just remember, half of the people here are full of BS, half don’t know their ass from a whole in the ground, and the rest are dialed in.

I love the Tacoma, never regretted it for a second. There’s no comparison. They are reliable and they hold their value. It’s like buying a Boston Whaler, hold their value, quite reliable and fun to own. Unlike other manufacturers that constantly change each model, the Tacoma changes only after several years and Toyota generally stands behind them. This allows for a wealth of robust information from other owners (like this post) who share a wealth of information and shared experiences and sometimes frustrations.

So, 5-10% of buyers would not buy again and people are surprised they are vocal?

It’s been like that for as long as I can remember.

For years people have been saying "they don't build 'em like they used to" and that hasn't stopped now. You see all these people saying that you should find an old second gen. I can promise you that if you look back at the old pages of TTORA there were people saying that they should have bought an older first gen. You can go back to the old pages of Pirate where that douche Camo and his queer buddies were talking about how bad that Tacoma was and how much better the pre-Tacoma was. It simply never ends. If quality was really getting worse as new models continue to come out we would be trying to find a low mile used Yugo. It is just nonsense when someone says that the older models were better.

I really like my 18. I have no regrets. I love it just as I did my old 4 runner, the Tacoma before that, the Tacoma before that, and my 94 that started it. They were all quality vehicles, but there are always improvements that you just can't find in the older models.
