I may play some dodgeball tonight, pending I get my other stuff done, to get a feel for the handling on the keyboard and mouse. I fired it up for about 5 minutes with the remote, and it was painful.

haha yea. It's odd because you always move unless you force yourself to stop. aiming would be hard too.

 

I never could FPS well with a remote. 3rd person perspective games with aiming I can do (i.e. Dead Space)

 

ahh gotcha. I could always do a remote. Had too. All my friends had xbox's and shit. Shit kicked most of their asses.

 

I hated xbox and Halo. My friends were console plebs, so they would play that game constantly. I got to play for an hour every other week. You could tell I would just fumble with the controls.

I got pretty good at it. Always took me a few rounds to adjust to the different game play.

Or you could get Tek to play with his remote and we could do remotes vs keyboards

 

Funny, I'm the opposite. I gamed solely on xbox for the last probably 10-15 years. Loved FPS on there. Now in the last ~10 months, I switched over to PC gaming because of the Mods to games allowed. I'm relearning to game FPS using mouse and keyboard, and I fumble around the keyboard!

 

I still hit random keys in games because I forget about the binds.

 

I'm right there with ya. This weekend in Battlegrounds there were at least two games where I wanted to prone (Z) and I pressed X which is to put away your gun and use your fists.

Didn't work out well for me.

 

I wish you could throw your gun for damage.
