You have to convert the beginning temp to an absolute scae (Kelvin) then do the math, then re-convert to C or F.

273K = 0C
½ 273=136.5K converted to C = -136.5

 

never work with F or C, always in K so 273/2 = 135.5K

 

do you have a forumla that you used?

cause if you convert it too celcious it equals -18 degrees, double that so it is -36 degrees. then convert it back into farenheight.

 

You must convert to Kelvin first. Then convert back to F or C, depending on what the question asks.

ok, 0 cesius is 273 Kelvin is 32 Ferenheit. Divide 273k by 1/2 you get 136.5 Kelvin. Convert 136.5 Kelvin to Ferenheit you get -213.7 Ferenheit, at least using the interwebz conversion calculator.
