Just to clarify a few earlier comments, Tapatalk support was removed because of the practices of the company who makes it, not because of the fact we have a TW app in development (otherwise we obviously would have waited until the TW app was finished).

Anyone suggesting that is selectively ignoring posts we've made in order to support some dreamed up imaginary evil plot.

Well since I'm one of the 400, affected users of tapatalk I'll voice my opinion.
Am I happy with this? No
    Am I inconvenienced? Yes
Will I still visit TW? Yes but not as often.

I use tapatalk for all but one (now 2) forums I frequent. The other forum in almost non -existent on now. Tapatalk made it quick, easy and convenient while I'm on break at work or otherwise trying to enjoy a few minutes of down time to check all the latest at once.

I do understand why it was dropped. The reasoning is valid. I do hope that if tapatalk were to stop the invasions that it would be brought back.

    Not enough...
Was never a big fan of Tapatalk, but it was pretty convenient to check replies to subscribed threads and was a nice way to read all the posts, without all the clutter of the mobile site.

As far as a stand alone app, I am all for it. E90Post made their own app and it was amazing! Sooooooooo much better than tapatalk and without ads and nagging.

I agree with this 150%. It was convenient. I could quickly check the forum from anywhere. I would be lying if I said I have never used it while driving because it made it THAT easy to access important information when I needed it. It was also great because it gave me a notification number giving me a rough number of how many posts I was behind. Helped me determine if it was a good time to try and get caught up or just wait it out. As long as the new app can achieve those aspects a switch is fine by me

What information is needed that bad while your driving?
Let me know if you take the 330 or 18. I'd like avoid you on the road as much as possible while taking my family up to the mountains for the snow.

I only did it while lost in AZ trying to find a trail head and I was checking the directions that had been posted. It was a highway that slightly turns once in 50 miles and I was the only vehicle on it. I could've driven with my eyes closed and my hands tied behind me and not hit anything on that road

It's a crap shoot. Sometimes I take 330. Sometimes I take 18. Depends where I'm going, how much time/money I have and how I feel. I enjoy both drives :D

Aside from the spamming of members how many glitches have you had to fix over the last year when TaT would update something on their end and the app wouldn't work with TW afterwards? I seem to remember you troubleshooting several issues that they (TaT) caused. TaT seems like a maintenance headache that took time away from working on more pressing TW upgrades and fixes (like the upcoming app)

Finally decided to look up why Tapatalk didn't work on TW anymore, and it's sad to hear but good for you guys. I had no idea it was doing crap like that, and while it was convenient it certainly could have been better.

Good luck with the app, I'll be anxiously waiting to try it!
