TRE's are supposed to be crooked as pictured.
Most likely the cam tabs for LCA alignment are bent over, same thing happened on my truck except I hit a tree at ~30 MPH and caused the issue that way.

For whatever reason they do have a bend in them. Just changed mine out about a year ago.

It looks like the inner tie rod is possibly bent - the boot looks like its curved too. Anyone else see that?

also a bent tie rod should have the opposite effect in this case.

Is it possible that the crossmember (where the steering rack is mounted) got bent and pulled the lower control arms in? I imagine that if that happened it would probably destroy the rack. But it seems to me that coming down on a rock and bending the crossmember would pull both wheels in at the bottom.

So. All the excitement, but no verdict.

OP, what was the final result. For the good of the order and all that.

Sorry for keeping everyone in suspense!! The vehicle is not a daily driver so it has been parked ever since Sunday while I've been busy at work.

But this Saturday I plan on bringing to a alignment shop to see what they say. Will keep everyone posted on what happened.

when i had my 99, i hit the corner of a ditch(where the coulvert poke out) taking a turn into a cane field (going way too fast) and bent the tie rod like that. tire looked exactly like that

An alignment for sure but hopefully it's not a new spindle that you need

    New tie rod for sure

Do the shop a favor and wash that bitch, underneath, before you bring it in. Good way to piss off a tech first thing by bringing in a muddied up truck to work on.

WOW, that's pretty bad. I'm not an alignment expert, but I'd say that TRE's won't cause the camber off. I'm thinking lower control arm damage, LCA cams or a damaged crossmember/frame. Any chance of a major rust issue being the culprit?

    Dude.

Looking at the amount of camber, I would gamble that something is bent. I dont recall the cams having THAT much adjustment. And judging by how bad it looks, I would also be concerned over the frame and coil buckets.

Get it down to an alignment shop, as mentioned avoid driving it. I would start by gambling you have some bent arms. probably lower. but anything is possible.

    sub'd for the outcome.

My guess is the cross member is bent between the LCA's.

Apparently nothing is bent or broken just badly needed a alignment. I knew if what I did was enough to bend or break something going over 2 rocks like that I'd have to reconsider owning a Toyota haha
