Recently I’ve been getting this chirping sound from my tweeters that starts as 3 chirps at a time the develops into a rapid fire trill of chirps. It started ha after the radio had been on for more than an hour and very seldom. Now it happens every time I drive more than 20 minutes. Adjusting the volume doesn’t affect it, nor does switching from radio to cd to Bluetooth. The only way to make it stop is to hit the power button but it comes right back when you hit it again. Anyone else have this problem? These are OEM speakers. It’s got to be electrical but is there a noise buffer gone bad? Wiring? Or should I just replace the speakers?

Does it do it with engine not running? Could be alternator noise.

Nope. It keeps doing it when I cut the engine off.
