Anyone have a guide for a twin stick install for a 1st gen tacoma? Seems like all the online guides have disappeared. I'm looking for instructions on what needs to be removed to grind down the shift fork nub.

Or should I just do what @SMKYTXN did and grind the nub off while the transfer case is still together (being very careful not to drop metal shavings in to the case)?

Skip grinding off the nub with the case intact. The risk of knocking the keys out of the synchro are too great. :anonymous:

So after I pull the springs and pills out and remove the back of the tcase, I should be able to pull the shift rails for grinding?

You'll need to remove the three nuts on the flanges, then you can split the case.

wow. what do they keep telling him? Another guy here on TW ordered in January and got his a couple days ago.

If I don't have it by Jambo this year, I'll cancel and order an atlas. They told me a slight delay due to being out of stock on shifter bases.
