To be honest, I have only ever seen dual EBC setups. Due to the fact of minute differences between banks, and equipment each bank. Doesn't mean that's the only method.

I could see one boost controller running both, but I don't know if the adjustments will be one to one, versus one controller and one w/g.

I downloaded a few PDF's, only from GFB. I only saw reference to single-single.

For the time being, since your engine is not built, I see no major benefit to use a boost controller. You'll be at the engine's mechanical threshold at low boost. Roughly 8-10 psi. Which is easy to get with spring pressure alone.

Which intake manifold are you planning on using?

I'm sure you mean for custom setups like this. Twin /sequential Turbo Zs, FDs, Supras back in the days had single HKS and greddy/trust EBCs to play with.... Probably due to the stock single wastegate.

But for this custom setup with twin snails and double wastegates.... the addition of a 2nd EBC should almost be mandatory.

But like you said, all that is moot until the motor is built and sees double digit boost pressure.

I am using a modified LS intake. See picture for reference. So in other words you guys recommend option 3 in the pictures? I am going to be using a FT550 for management that as a built in boost controller. Just dont know what would be better for when I am running the 20ish ponds of boost later on.IMG_4125.jpg IMG_4126.jpg IMG_1619.jpg

Option #3 IMO. I'm not familiar with the FT550. That IN mani sure is pretty. Eventually, all that psi feeding into a big oval TB!

Ok option 3 then that should do it. Ive always had to deal with one turbo like my 1971 datsun 2jz. But I have never worked with a twin turbo set up so i had some questions. Thanks for the info I appreciate it. @Torspd @SUMOTNK

Those are ford coyote coils from Holley Part # 556-160. I spoke with holley a while back for a solution for our engine and they didnt have anything but while i was searching their catalog I saw those coils and I contacted them again and the holley guy said they wouldn’t fit so I bet him i could make them fit and thats how I ended up with those coils. They are really nice smart coils.

    Lol, well played sir.

Did you fabricate the lower half of the intake manifold to a custom plenum flange, for your custom intake?

i did make a mid plate in a manner speaking between the plenum and the intake. The only custom part of the intake is the nose because i wanted a ford throttle. The flange is a standard Holley flange that can be use with any holley product. I did that because i had limited space under the hood. For an application like lets say your truck you dont need a “custom” intake. All you need is to fabricate a “mid plate”. If I had a good bunch of people i could mass produce it.

My adapter plate will later be made billet aluminum. Mine is a prototype so to speak. I would like to incorporate a second set of injectors later on.

I'm also doing a holley intake on my build and I designed an adapter to make the transition.

How far have you made it with the fuel tech? Or is that yet to come.

I am ready to put all sensors in and crank it my guess crank sensor will be the biggest challenge. I have the engine loom all done “I think” lol

Using stock sensors? I don't see any crank trigger on there.
