    Would this make a difference if he had the bigger alternator from the tow package? Or did they not do this in the 4cyl from factory?

    They way it's set up it will only charge the battery that needs to be charged I have a 90A alt. I'm essentially running two separate electrical systems with the cram as a common ground.
