    Hey tw.

My lift kit came in yesterday and am planning to get it installed at a local shop here in the coming days.

My plan was to get my 285's put on the following day.

There's an alignment shop next door to the suspension shop I'm going to that can align the truck right after I lift it.

If I got my stock(265/65/17) tires aligned, and bought my new 285's the following day, would I need another alignment done with my new tires installed?

Should I just skip the initial alignment and wait to align with just my new tires??

    Thanks in advance!

No. One alignment is good in your situation.

Drive around for a bit and let everything settle before getting alignment.i went for 10 days before getting mine aligned. Then bought the 3 year unlimited alignments.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll probably still buy the tires the following day and get the alignment the following week. Just didn't want to pay for 2 alignments.

    ALL KINDS OF SHIT
An alignment is only necessary when you make a change with your suspension or steering components. Tires have no affect on alignment settings. It is good to put a few miles on it if you can before alignment as stated.
