Two carseats and golden retriever in backseat...

You know, I considered the same thing. However, since they're no longer offering them in the states, the support you need to back them won't be as strong. That's huge when it comes to the safety of my kids. So I opted for something that's "current".

 

Same here, a 5 year old and 2 month old in my double cab. My 2 small under 40lbs dogs may fit but tight in the middle of both car seats. Odds are they would need to go in the bed (softopper)
