It appears the wheel bearings assembly on my 2010 Tachoma is a sealed unit including the hub and the spindle.
    1) Is this correct?

    2) If #1 is correct, what is the expected life expectancy of the assembly?

    Great forum of knowledgeable folks!
Thanks for all your help in advance.

Life expectancy will have several determining factors such as lift, wheel backspace, miles, etc. Generally a wider stance (via wheel spacers or different wheels) CAN wear bearings out faster, but it depends. I got 126k out of my 2005 dclb before i needed front bearings. My current truck is a 2010 with 44k and i dont need em yet. Front wheel bearings arent the best on these trucks but it's not really that big of a deal to replace em. If you keep your truck stock, i would think you could get 100k easy.

Thank you for the welcome, DoorDing!

The hubs in your post appear to be for 4X4 and Prerunners only. My Tacoma is a "Base" model 4x2 - 100% stock. Again, I am curious as to what I can expect for bearing life. My vehicle is a 2010 and the odometer currently is right at 96,000 miles. Should I be contemplating replacing the bearing and hub assemblies in the near future?

Thanks to all the members here for their knowledge and willingness to share! :)

The fan didn't chirp. The frames didn't rust out in a few years either.
