Lucky enough to pick up new to us Tacomas This week. First thing I need to do is something about the exterior handles on the 2014. Any ideas out there?

I know auto parts stores have a meguires “Back to Black” which works great
There are covers you can snap on them also, but I would try the back to black stuff first

    Looks like they were waxed.
Maybe try some wax and grease remover with an old toothbrush.

+1 on Cerakote. Gives a real good shine and lasts a good while.

If you want to go the spray paint route, SEM Trim Black is another option as well. I've used it on my pop n lock with good results.

    All stock, baby!
Pretty sure the tailgate handle you have is the same aftermarket unit I have. The plastic is absolute crap, loses its black color within a couple of months of installation. The simple back to black products only last a short time on this stuff, works longer on the OEM in my experience. I’m going to try the Cerakote product myself to see if I can get a little bit longer life out of it.
