CBI plate rear bumper with swingaway, SPC Light Racing UCAs, ARB SS170HF Safari snorkel w/ Afrikaans centrifugal pre-cleaner, Tacoma antenna mod, TRD Supercharger w/ URD 7th inj. & URD pulleys, Anti-Dark engine bay lighting system. Having gone 250k, Aug 2016 was the time to replace the original clutch & get the driver's seat rebuilt/stuffed. Front & back Weathertech liners. '05 Tundra front disc brake swap. Full length Rocky Mountain Rack with 40" lightbar, Alternating strobe rear dust lights. I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new from old stock 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
They actually open up the airflow by about double. When you install your snorkel you'll get to see the factory intake (wtf is this?). You'll be surprised just how much dust is collected. Also there's no need to swap out with the original ram scoop. I'm running the 5VZ-FE supercharger & there is definitely no restriction of airflow. Only the cleanest & coldest air available for my $5k investment.

Do you have a build thread I'm not seeing? Trying to see which snorkel you have. Although I don't know how many options we have.

I went with the hilux snorkel. I think it looks better than the Tacoma ARB oneimage.jpg

Install isn't too bad. There are a couple good write ups on T4R.

We have 2 design options from various manufacturers, the one you ordered & mine.
I don't have a build thread but I try to keep my description up to date. I was mod'ing long before joining here & it was too much work to go back & find all the documentation, any photos that were (weren't) taken, etc.

Roads less traveled but certainly getting more busy now days. The monsoons we've had the last week and cooler temps up high really fried the flowers.
