PS I am PM'ing everyone, believe it or not it is faster to PM everyone than it is to weed out people that already confirmed.

I don't think requirements per se are the answer. Yourself being one example of course, but I'm sure there are others.

My giftee got his and posted both times his stuff arrived.

I've not got anything yet. Personally, don't give a shit. It's about the giving for me and I've done my job. Plus a couple of awesome stories here so far have made this experience good enough for me right now.

    Pretty much agreed.

I did jump on my gifting quick, in no small part because December is a peak time for my part time job. That's in addition to my full time job, a house I'm doing several projects on this year..some planned, some not like my floor almost caving in. Not to mention caring for a sick parent.

Life happens sure but like I just said I could give a shit less if I get anything, I gave something and made a friend. That's what I hope to get out of this and nothing more.

    But that's just me.

Ditto. Sucks that @Bennett707 had to PM all 236 members. It was more fun gifting and buying things for my giftee. Too bad I got him in trouble in the process :(. Still feel terrible about it.

Anyway, the holidays are about making memories with family and friends. Spend time and make memories with them (not just around the holidays, but all the time). Life can be cut short at any given time.

Edit: The site to the right is a bit morbid, but it put things in perspective. http://seeyourfolks.com/

That's just it. My priority right now of all is my mother who is ill. Good days, bad days. She's already worrying this will be the last holiday season she has. I think she'll outlive us all but having buried both my in laws already I know it can happen any time.

By giving, I did what I wanted to do. Reading a few good stories of interactions here was a bonus.

My gift can just get lost in the mail or never get sent or what ever and I wouldn't care.

Nah, microphone. I would have slammed my weight barbell down instead but I already had one floor I just had to replace (as in the whole floor), I can't afford to do another one!

No gift yet but I'm not worried or concerned. I was able to provide some cheer and in return my giftee actually sent me something even though he wasn't my SS. Which by the way is some damn tasty Texas Whiskey!

Hey pro deer. I got home a lot earlier than I originally thought. I am super excited about the gifts. Bottle openers are great can ever have too many. I really like the cast iron one. The fly box is sweet. Been looking to get one of those aluminum ones and a plus there is flys in it. The reel and line will be an awesome back up when I'm out if something happens to my other reel. And wow on the liquor. Only had one airplane bottle of the gentleman jack before, It's good stuff and the Hennessy never had it but have heard very good things about it. Here recently I've gotten into of having a bourbon on the rocks instead of beer so this is perfect. Can't wait to crack the seal on them. 2bad0b9f951d3984dff70e330893dbd6_bc61209474c74b0317ee3bc24b2d5b48627c73fd.jpg
