Might have to do something similar. My giftee hasn't noted his receipt of the items yet. Of course they just arrived today.

    Impatient I know.

So Wednesday comes around at work. Nobody wants to work. It's like everyone is moving in slow motion. :annoyed: I am setting up schedules for Monday since we are closed until next week. Trying to get things delivered today that customers want between now and then. Drivers are taking their time because they have the holidays on their minds. Can you blame them...no I do too! Thinking of all the things that I still have to do and cook before tomorrow, wow the clock moves slow. I send some home early that are going out of town but have to stay myself to finish up (joys of management). I soon find myself alone in a solitude of silence, surrounded by nothing but my own paperwork and my lack of interest as the tick tock of the clock rings in the hollows of my head. I finally wrap up my to do list and close up shop for the night. I make my way home through the evening traffic. Caravans of cars and trucks are clogging the roadways traveling to their weekend destinations delaying my appointment with my good friend Michelob Ultra. I finally pull into my driveway and find my myself staring at an anonymous package at my front door. All the days worries and stress fall to the wayside as my excitement overcomes any thoughts from work. I have received a gift! I grab my package (the box guys, come on really ) and hurry my way to the kitchen table. As I open it I find myself overwhelmed with excitement. Strange to feel so enthusiastic about something from someone I know nothing about. I open it to find a kind note from the sender ( @PinnaclePete ) and look upon the gifts that I've been bestowed. I come across one, then two, then packaging and more. The farther I dig the more I find. I grow more and more excited the farther down the box I dig. It feels like the never ending gift, Santa's bag of goodies perhaps. I keep pulling more and more presents, that thrill to no end. By the time I am done, they fill half of my kitchen table. I am humbly appreciative of Pete and can not express my gratitude enough. I just hope that this message gives other hope as they wait for their surprises from other thoughtful members. Merry Christmas to all and thank you for being such a wonderful community.

Thanks again Pete for you never ending generosity!

    -Warren

Still waiting on mine as well, but then I'm still waiting on some things that I bought for my SS too. I probably won't be sending gifts to my person until next week. I find myself checking this thread everyday just to see what everyone gets!

Warning somewhat mushy post... but I have to say I'm thankful for TW and that I stumbled upon it! Its enough of a gift for me, I've had some pretty tough days lately at work and been unhappy there, hating life. So when I get over stressed or irritated I can open this up and laugh at some of you crazy people or enjoy reading random comments, or learning something new, seeing what people have gotten from their ss, etc. and I forget about what I was pissed about and that eight hours of my day has or will suck!lol!! So thank you TW !! Happy turkey day tomorrow!!
